Karlsruhe, September 23, 2014 – asknet AG will get a new Executive Board member. Tobias Kaulfuß will join the company’s Executive Board as CEO with effect from November 1, 2014 and lead the company together with Ute Imhof (née Köhler). Tobias Kaulfuß has comprehensive management, sales, operations and strategic experience, which he gained at Bain&Company, Duales System Deutschland and global logistics company Rhenus Logistics during the past ten years. Since 2011 he has been Managing Director of the fulfillment provider Rhenus Media Services, a subsidiary of the Rhenus Group. With several hundred employees at six locations, Rhenus Media Services generates sales revenues in the double-digit million euro range.

It is above all his great expertise in e-commerce fulfillment which makes him the ideal successor to long-serving Executive Board member Michael Konrad, who at his own request will not renew his contract running until June 2015. Having spent over eleven years with asknet, Michael Konrad wants to take up new challenges. His tasks on the Executive Board will be taken over by Tobias Kaulfuß, who will assume responsibility for business development, sales, marketing, finance, human resources and investor relations in his capacity as the new CEO. Chief Operating Officer (COO) Ute Imhof will remain in charge of project management, business operations and product development.

The Supervisory Board would like to thank Michael Konrad for his long-standing commitment to the company. “Michael Konrad was instrumental in the development of asknet,” said Dr. Joachim Bernecker, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of asknet AG. “We regret his decision, not least in view of his great achievements in restructuring and repositioning the company over the past years.” With regard to the new Board team, he added: “At the same time, we are pleased, to have found an experienced successor in Tobias Kaulfuß, who will continue the company’s success story together with Ute Imhof. The combination of long-standing industry experience, profound knowledge of the e-commerce business and the asknet Group’s offering ensures that we will have a powerful and effective Executive Board team.”
