For our office in Karlsruhe, starting at the earliest possible date, we are looking for a:

Head of Business Development international (m/f) Academics – full time

Your profile:

  • Masters level university education (Business, IT, Engineering)
  • Entrepreneurial thinking
  • Thorough analytic approach and strong skill to solve even the most complex tasks
  • Enjoys international assignments, ideally shown in previous work history
  • Very good e-commerce know-how
  • Affinity to the world of academia
  • Ability to integrate into a growing team
  • Ability to network within and outside of an organization
  • Good sales attitude and skills
  • Organization and negotiation talent
  • Self-starter-mentality
  • Very good know-how of the MS Office product range
  • Near-native English speaker, ready to serve an international customer base
  • Command of the Russian and a Scandinavian language is a plus

Your tasks:

  • Responsible for business development strategically and operationally
  • Analysis and selection of promising new markets and products
  • Development of new products until readiness for marketing has been reached
  • Development of new markets, incl. opening up new branch offices/subsidiaries or developing existing subsidiaries
  • Support in the creation of an organization ready for growth with dynamic structures
  • Analysis and evaluation of customer potential and identification of target customers
  • Continuous revision of business development process and tools
  • Compliance with quality management requirements
  • Monitoring and compliance with revenue and profit targets through regular controls and applicable measures
