International software publishers choose asknet AG’s flexible shop solutions

New customers pave road to growth +++ Established customers expand renewal business

Karlsruhe, June 5, 2009 – asknet AG, a leading provider of outsourcing solutions for the global electronic software distribution (ESD) industry, has announced contracts with two new customers.

In the future, EskoArtwork, a provider of innovative solutions in the fields of design, production, communication, and management within the packaging and printing supply chain, will rely on asknet for its online sales, replacing its in-house solution and an eShop run by an asknet competitor. GridIron Software, the leading provider of workflow and performance tools for creative professionals, based in Canada, has also placed its trust in asknet’s eShops.

“This shows that it is possible to attract new customers despite the economic crisis,” notes CEO Gerald Prior, “and that the negative trend has been reversed – our quality and excellent services are starting to pay off. The market is endorsing our strategy of longevity and sustainable high quality. These two international clients fit perfectly into our portfolio of customers, and we are confident that these new accounts will have a positive effect on our 2009 sales.”

asknet’s business with its established customers has also shown positive growth. Panda Security, one of asknet's major strategic customers, has delegated a large portion of its online business to asknet – in the future asknet will handle the main part of the company’s online business worldwide. “asknet helps us accelerating Panda's online sales. Our online business is very important to us, because it allows us to interact very effectively with our customers – more or less automatically,” says Juan Santana, CEO of Panda Security.
