Karlsruhe, August 14, 2009 - asknet AG, a leading provider of outsourcing solutions for the global electronic software distribution (ESD) industry, today released its half year report for 2009.

Despite the continuing global recession, asknet improved results by 50 % compared to the same first half of 2008. Losses were 883 thousand euros in the first half of 2009, a reduction of 891 thousand euros compared to the same period of 2008 – despite ongoing weak global economy.

Thanks to the acquisition of several international clients in the first half of 2009 the trend of becoming more global clearly continues in the asknet group. “Our new customers BizAgi, GridIron and EskoArtwork confirm our flexible and robust technology and international services“, says Michael Konrad, Co-CEO of asknet AG, “We are confident that the positive trend will continue in the second half year of 2009.”
