Michael Scheib | Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

 
As CEO, Michael Scheib is responsible for asknet´s strategic direction, holdings, sales, marketing, and communications.

Michael Scheib brings to asknet more than 25 years of management experience with different American IT companies. Before joining asknet he served as president and CEO of iET Solutions LLC, a global provider of software solutions for the IT service management market. Prior to iET Solutions, he was senior vice president and general manager of operations for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) with Niku Corp.  Before joining Niku, he was executive officer and vice president of European operations for Applix Inc., responsible for overseeing strategic direction and growth of all Applix business lines in the EMEA region. Previously he served in further management roles as managing director for Applix GmbH, Parametric Technology GmbH and as sales manager for CalComp GmbH.
 

Michael Konrad | CFO

Michael Konrad joined asknet AG in June 2003. He is responsible for Finance, Human Resources, Customer Services and Business Operations.

After studying for the degree of industrial engineer at the Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences, he began his career as a business analyst with Du Pont Chemicals. After transferring to the pharmaceutical industry and joining the US Allergan Group he worked as a financial analyst for their Pharmaceutical Department Central Europe. From 1999 to 2002 Michael Konrad was Head of Accounting and Controlling at entory AG, an IT subsidiary of Deutsche Börse AG.

Dr. Dietmar Waudig | Founder, COO

Dr. Dietmar Waudig is one of the founders of asknet AG. He is in charge of the following areas: Professional Services, Product Development and Technology.

Dietmar Waudig has 21 years of professional experience in the IT and software industry. After studying computer sciences at Karlsruhe University, he began his career with IBM Germany. In the following years he held leading positions at the EDP Center of Karlsruhe University as well as with IBM Germany, where he was responsible for managing large projects at, among others, the European Networking Center in Heidelberg and the Development Laboratory in Böblingen.

 

asknet Inc. – Management Team

Mark Begin | President asknet Inc., San Francisco, USA

Mark Begin joined asknet Inc. in 2007. As president of asknet Inc., a 100 % subsidiary of asknet AG, Mark Begin is responsible for the operation of asknet's North America activities including North American sales and account management of asknet's full eCommerce services.

Since joining asknet in 2007, Mark Begin has built the asknet account management department and processes to help customers understand their online business and to grow it. Overseeing all eDistribution current accounts globally, Mark Begin ensured asknets services revenues were advancing to approximately 65% of overall corporate revenue.
Mark Begin has accumulated 15 years of high tech, Silicon Valley and global experience, primarily in lead strategic alliance & business development roles at Boole & Babbage, Informix Software and Rational Software and a number of early stage companies. Mark has built sales and marketing alliances with Hewlett Packard, Sun Microsystems, Digital Equipment, CapGemni, Agency.com and many others, covering enterprise systems management, developer tools, infrastructure, CRM to email marketing and consulting services.
He holds an International MBA from Santa Clara University, and BS Degree from St. Cloud State University. Mark Begin is married with a newborn daughter.

asknet K.K. – Management Team

Yosuke Ito | Managing Director, asknet K.K., Tokyo, Japan


As Managing Director of asknet K.K., 100% subsidiary of asknet AG, Yosuke Ito is responsible for the entire operation of asknet´s  Japanese entity since 2007.


Yosuke Ito has over 20 years of management of foreign firms experience as country manager and as board of director representative in Japan, Australia and the U.S. Before he joined asknetBB, he was the country manager and representative director of Avanquest BB KK, a joint venture with Avanquest Software and SoftbankBB. Prior to that Mr. Ito was the representative director of Japan Scientific Management Inc., and country manager of F-Secure and SunGard Business Integration. Mr. Ito also was the representative director of C-ATS Japan and managing director of Pan Pacific Business Consulting, specializing in Multimedia PC, in Sydney, Australia and San Francisco. Mr. Ito is a native Japanese, born and raised in Tokyo, is married and has 2 children.
